It’s been a while since I’ve done a ‘What’s in my makeup bag’ or ‘Everyday makeup routine’ so I thought I would combine the two in one! When I briefly looked at my old one nearly three years ago, I thought all my makeup products would still be the same, however I am wrong! Not like 2020 was the year for makeup (or any for that matter for the most part), I thought I would share what I use when the time comes around to paint my face again.
I start with spraying my face with the Revolution Glow Fix before starting my eyebrows with the Revolution Brow Pencil in Medium Brown. Once they are done, I then carve out my brows using my concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection (still a fave) on a small angled brush.

Usually I leave my eyes there on the regular, but if I was wearing eyeshadow I would just put a small amount of my bronzer in the crease & blend it out. Again, if I was to skip this step I would move onto my base where I would blend my base across my eyes too.
The base. I’m still wanting to find a foundation rather than mixing but it’s hard to find the right brand with the right consistency I like – something that gives a light to medium glowy coverage. So I mix the LA Girl BB Cream in Neutral & my Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cashew until I find my right match. Once it’s all blended out I put a small amount of the concealer just under my eyes and on my chin. More recently I have also started to powder ~very lightly~ using the Maybelline Fit Me Powder in Natural Ivory.

For the rest of the face I use the Revolution Bronzer in Warm & the Revolution Blush in Violet Love. Next, I drown myself in highlighter using the Wet n Wild Highlighting Powder in ‘Precious Petals’ before going in with my final sprays of the Glow Fix again. When I can find it again, I also love the Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray too.

Finally, the last steps is touching any other areas up like more bronzer or adjusting the eyebrows before completing the look with mascara. I still like to use the Maybelline Lash Sensation in Black. And aswell, whenever I am bothered, I like to apply a simple lip such as Mac Velvet Teddy (a classic) or any nudy-brown I can find.
